Austin Mini Cooper Mk2
Welcome to the sale of this Mint Mk2 Cooper finished in it’s factory colours Snowberry White with a Gloss Black roof. This Cooper was totally rebuilt over a period of 2 years and completed in 2018 to a very high standard, the Mini was built to standard factory spec like when it was new. Panels included a complete new herritage floor, full front end including A-panels, door skins and boot lid, all panles are herriatge and fit perfectly. Once the car had been repaneled it was then fully painted top to bottom, the paint finish can only be described as perfection! The restoration was carried out by a classic car company close to Royston who are very well known for classic car restortaion.
The 998 engine has been fully rebuilt by a company called TG Fitchett, built to original spec with no moddifications other than a Unleaded cylinder head. All other ancillaries are either refurbished or new. Mechanically all brand new, displacers have been refurbished by Tim at Minimail which all hold pressure.
Inside the car is mainly new which was bought from Newton commercial, again this is built to a standard factory car.
Driving the Mini is a real treat, glides along lovely with it’s quiet 998cc engine along with it’s 4 synchromesh gearbox.
Lots of invoices and its all inportant heritage certificate.
