Welcome to the sale of this outstanding Austin Mini Seven finished in its original color Surf Blue. This Mini had a full nut & bolt restoration by its previous owner who restored the car to an exceptional condition. The original shell was completely stripped and then welded back up with all heritage panels. The Mini is fitted with a 998cc unit with a 12g295 head, high lift cam, 4 syncro gearbox on remote gear change, this was rebuilt by Graham McConnell. Rebuilt 1.25 twin su carbs on cooper manifold with original 997 air filters. Suspension was completely rebuilt, adjustable stainless tie bars, 1.5 negative bottom arms, hi-low adjustable trumpets with dunlop cones. Brakes – 7.5 disc brake conversion, mini fin rear drums. Nos master cylinders. Exhaust – manifold is a 3-1, twin box silencer exhaust with correct mk1 starter solenoid bend, full system completely ceramic coated. Wheels- mini spares replica 4.5 cooper wheels. Interior is from newton commercials including microcell replica front seats. Les Leston steering wheel, nippy cars boss, speedo surround with side electronic smiths rev counter. Speedo rebuilt/calibrated, smiths oil/temp gauges. Original heater, chrome gear stick, and handbrake. Working works heated screen. Trim – nippy cars benilite grill with spotlights, stainless bumper/over riders, p700 headlights. New Wiring loom, converted to key start. Every nut/bolt etc is stainless which was a big cost!
Heritage certificate shows this is a numbers matching car which still retains its original reg number from (1962) The car can only be described as new condition, you won’t find another like it. Bills mounting up to an eye-watering amount to make this car what it is today. Comes with two trophies, one being 1st place at the 2021 British Mini day.
