Rover Mini John Cooper LE (2000)

Welcome to the sale of this Rare John Cooper LE finished in Brooklands Green with Grenadine Red leather interior. This limited edition model was created to pay tribute not only to the Mini’s fortieth year, but also the fortieth anniversary of the Cooper F1 World Championship. Available only in the striking combination of Brooklands Green and Old English White, with a Grenadine Red Leather interior. Officially 300 were produced in total. However, John Cooper’s wife wanted a new Cooper LE after they had all sold out. In response, Rover built an additional Y-plate car for her, pushing the production total up to 301. The LE models have a very special high-quality interior with extended leather to the top dash, door cards, door pockets, steering wheel, gear knob and hand brake handle. They all had an alloy effect dashboard with a Rover branded CD radio as standard. The sports pack kit was standard and 2 additional driving lights were fitted to the front. This LE is in fantastic condition having low owners and miles, the previous owner bought the car in 2002 from the first owner, the car was a demo from new. The car was subject to restoration around 2010 which included new door skins, A-panels, sills and door hinges. The car was then professionally painted to a very nice standard and still remains in lovely condition 11 years later! As you’ll notice from the mot history the car has done very minimal mileage over the last 10 years. Inside the car is in lovely condition, the bottom dash rail has been wrapped to match the top which looks ace. Starts up very nice, no issues with the gearbox at all.

LE’s in this condition are extremely hard to find, a great future investment.

Can be delivered at extra cost to UK/europe.
